My story: life is more than this
I really empathize with this story here. I too had been blindly shortsighted, wading through life, unhealthy and unknowing.
I had my wakeup when I was working downtown in the comfy office job one fall. I got a craigslist post for an opportunity to work on a food truck. I was filled with doubts, why would I leave my safety and routine? In the end, I did it. I took the plunge, and cast aside my easy career for an unstable uncertain future with something I loved: food.
It was absolutely terrifying, but through the power of positivity, every day I was able to realize: stress is what you make of it. Those external factors can remain external.
If you accept what is happening to you and just focus on being your best, each day will work just fine for you!
Since then, I have narrowed me focus, yet broadened my vision: tailoring my daily activities toward the long term goal of a great life. I live healthier, feel my fulfilled, and can accurately reflect on where I am going!
