Me in Santorini - Happy in Miami
by Jordana Seligmann
I was delivering some documents to a customer and parked in front of a Greek restaurant. I hadn't had a gyro in a while so I decided to stop for lunch there.
As I sat eating my gyro sandwich, looking at a poster of Santorini, reminiscing of a Summer long ago, I said to myself "this is a perfect moment for me. The only thing that would make it more perfect would be if Pharrell Williams 'Happy' song would play."
And then it did.
I don't recall being this happy in a while. As I continued to eat and bounce to the music I repeated, "The only thing that would make this moment any better would be if it played again!"
And it did.
Wow! I'm lucky today, I thought.
So in almost disbelief I repeated my statement ... "The only thing that would make this better would be to hear Happy yet again!"
This happened two more times! Then I asked the cook if they programmed the music to repeat like this and he said: "No! As a matter of fact I was just going to check why it was looping like that".
But I Knew why!
