How Does The
Law of Attraction
Relate Back To
The Teachings of Jesus?

An article on a local Florida author, J.W. Yates and his new book “How the Law of Attraction Relates Back to the Teachings of Jesus.”
Local author J.W. Yates has published a new book titled “How the Law of Attraction Relates Back to the Teachings of Jesus.”
The book shows how the Law of Attraction and the teachings of Jesus relate to each other, and how they are essentially two sides of the same coin, with the coin itself being the underlying intents, so that when the intents are merged, the two become mutually supporting.
The techniques for applying the Law of Attraction are summarized, along with principles for living according to Jesus’ teachings, and keys to success.
The book is designed for ease of comprehension, plainly worded, short enough to easily read through in one or two sittings, and copiously end-noted for further reference.
The book is virtually a first in this combined-subject area.
There are a number of books on the Law of Attraction, and many more on the teachings of Jesus, but few show how closely the two are related, what Jesus’ plan for our abundance is, and why that plan supports His mission on Earth.
Fewer still touch upon how to develop and maintain the mindset for successfully following His plan, what the Mysteries of the Kingdom are, and how it all works together.
Yates grew up in a small town in Mississippi, had a traditional Christian upbringing, and has worshiped and studied with a number of Christian denominations and spiritual groups.
He attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) under the Regular NROTC program, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, was commissioned upon graduation, served on active duty with the Navy, is a veteran of Vietnam, and afterward participated in the Naval Reserve.
After his active-duty military service, he returned to Ole Miss, earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning, and a doctorate (J.D.) in law, and practiced professionally, and in related positions in business and government, principally in Mississippi and Texas.
He is a member of American Mensa, the National Eagle Scout Association, the Mississippi Bar, and the State Bar of Texas.
He is semi-retired, and lives in Northwest Florida with his wife, Mary, and two 9-year-old Pomeranian puppies.
