Connecting with some true love.
Some time ago I was feeling quite a bit depressed and blue, and longing for a meaningful relationship to appear in my life.
I had seen the movie The Secret recently and so I began to try to put it to work for me in this way.
I began to create some loving feelings in me, remembering how it felt to be in love, to feel the same sensations and moods as if I were in fact in love at the moment, but not about anyone in particular just experiencing for a few minutes the whole feeling and sensations of being totally and completely in love.
I felt the butterflies in my stomach, the lightheadedness, the total intoxication of that experience, just not for anyone in particular.
After a few weeks of this I actually met someone that in the most incredible way started to produce these kinds of feelings in me and ended up being one of the most important relationships of my life.
So I believe that I found a way to tune into love and by using the law of attraction I brought it into manifestation in my life.
Helping others while helping myself

There was a time we went to Honduras to build a clinic in a remote area. We were in a team of 8 people. We really enjoyed ourselves there and the people we met were very friendly.
We managed to build the clinic and also provided the equipment that was required. The equipment was donated by many people from all over the United States. It was a very positive experience.
Even though we were working to make a profit from the construction contract, it was a very fulfilling experience and we learn a lot of new things. I was the
team leader and I got a lot of praise for the good work.
The project was successful and we even copied the results of the project to be used for other future projects.
The people I worked with were well organized and hard working and so my work was not too hard and so I also felt that they deserved to be praised for the good work.
It was a good experience and I enjoyed myself very much.
A fictional concept for most, but not for me...

The Law Of Attraction. A fictional concept to the average everyday person but not to me.
My name is Edwin and I am 22 years old. I live in the always active City of New York. In order to survive in the infamous city you better hope you are making a good salary income.
For 4 years I was working. Fresh out of high school I got a job as a custodian in Lower Manhattan. Making slightly above minimum wage.
"Miserable" became a word that people used to describe me and rightfully so. Everyday going into work making crumbs led to 4 years of depression. So depressed that before I knew it family and friends became concerned.
They asked me to go see a doctor and I did. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety.
I did not feel comfortable going on any pill regiment that the doctor tried to assign me to. I was determined to get myself better.
One day while I was on Netflix I came across a movie called "The Secret". I didn't think nothing of it but something in my head told me to watch it.
The Secret opened up a whole new world in my head and taught me about the most powerful law in the universe, The Law Of Attraction.
The belief that you can have, do and be anyone you want fascinated me to go learn more.
The more I learned the more I wanted to put it into practice.
So started to use the Law to cure my depression and anxiety. The extensive research I did all led to the same principle, Gratitude.
I decided to really look into my life and not only to think of what I was thankful for but to really focus on it. I focused on what makes me happy and what I want more of in my life.
I did this everyday and started realizing that I'm not as upset and miserable as I was before. People actually started finding me to be a joy to be around and just by focusing on the wants I had I seen them start to manifest.
I got a big raise at work, I got to move out on my own and for the past year I haven't felt upset, depressed or had any anxiety once.
The Law Of Attraction cured me because I believed in the law but most of all I believed in myself. And you can too.
The Law of Attraction changed my life, and it can change yours too.
Found true love
I had been divorced for a few years and had been dating awful men. They just didn't treat me the way I deserved to be treated. I knew what kind of man I wanted, but couldn't seem to meet him.
One night I discovered The Secret on Nerflix. I had heard about it before, but didn't know what it was all about.
I loved it! It made sense to me. I decided to write a list of all the characteristics I was looking for in a man. I was very specific and made my ultimate wish list.
I told myself I wasn't going to settle for anything less. I put the list in the back of my journal and forgot about it. Right around the same time, an on again, off again relationship I had with a man was off again. I decided I wanted to be alone. It was summer, I was single, I had great friends and I was going to have fun! I enjoyed and appreciated my single life.
It was about one month later that I randomly joined a dating site. My friend was on one and had fun talking to people.
I had it in my mind that I wasn't looking for love or a forever relationship and signed up just for fun. A few days later, a daily match popped up. I looked at his profile and was immediately attracted. We ended up talking and after our first conversation, I was smitten.
I soon started realizing he was the man of my dreams. He was everything I'd ever wanted. I dug out my list and he met every single one of the things I was looking for. Including the state he was born in, his height, his job, the way he treated me.
It was amazing! We ended up moving in together a few months later.
We are now married and have a beautiful baby girl!
Not for me?
I first learned about the law of attraction when I was 16.
I read a book about it, and I was kind of amazed at how it worked.
I read a lot of personal stories from people about their own experiences.
For a while I believed it 100 percent, but I later realized that it is not something that should become an obsession. I am a Christian, and God's plan for me comes first. So if I really wanted something to happen in my life, but it was not a part of God's plan, then it won't happen no matter how much I use the law of attraction in my life.
I think that LOA should be used for positive thinking, but not to control every aspect of your life.
