Do not give honey to children under one year of age!
It is okay to mix up to 3 essential oils together for a stronger total effect, but it is not recommended that you mix more than 3, unless you have been trained in this.

Peppermint essential oil (and others) affects the hypothalamus in our brain, which is connected to our olfactory nerve, which is part of an intricate process that lets us know when we are full. This emotional area of our brain can also trigger our desire for a certain food.
Peppermint essential oils are highly regarded for soothing digestive problems. One drop in a GLASS quart or liter bottle of water, sipped throughout the day, can help to ease your digestive distress.
Peppermint essential oil has been studied for many years for it’s ability to stimulate large amounts of weight loss in subjects. Ironically, it is also highly regarded as a digestive stimulant for those that suffer from weight loss due to gastritis, ulcerative colitis, and pancreatitis.
Inhaling a peppermint essential oil frequently throughout the day can help to curb your appetite.
A good therapeutic-grade peppermint essential oil is also anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and a pain reliever (Great diluted and rubbed on temples or forehead for headaches!).

Lemon essential oil is used widely for weight loss.

Lemon essential oil is also anti-tumoral, anti-septic, anti-parasitic, improves circulation, relaxation, and stimulates and supports the immune system.
Lemon has been extensively studied for it’s ability to slow down the growth of tumors.
Inhaling the scent of lemon essential oil promotes focus, clarity and concentration, especially with tasks and tests, and invigorates and enhances good energies.
Lemon can be used in many ways, including mixing 50/50 with a carrier oil and applying to affected area, chakras or pressure points. It can be directly inhaled from the bottle or diffused in an oil diffuser.
Add a couple of drops in a large glass of water and sip all day for a great boost with your weight loss program!
I like putting a couple of drops of lemon essential oil in a glass of water or iced or hot tea, it is very refreshing and helps to curb cravings!
Do not use citrus essential oils on your skin when you will be exposed to sun!
Lemongrass Essential Oil
Lemongrass essential oil may help with weight loss by speeding up your metabolism to burn fat and deposits of cellulite, and by increasing lymph flow and circulation.
Lemongrass helps with digestive problems and fluid retention. It is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic, and anti-inflammatory.
Dilute and apply to area of concern, inhale or diffuse. Lemongrass may also be diluted 50/50 with a carrier oil such as olive oil and taken as a dietary supplement.
Grapefruit Essential Oil
Grapefruit essential oil for weight loss can help to reduce fatty cells such as cellulite.
These fat areas can harbor toxins, which contributes to an imbalance in hormone levels and cancer cells.
Grapefruit essential oil has been studied extensively for it’s ability to combat tumors.
Grapefruit essential oil helps in weight loss by stimulating metabolism, dissolving fat, cleaning kidneys, lymphatic and vascular systems. It is a diuretic, detoxifier, and antiseptic, as well as anti-tumoral.
Use and apply in the same ways as stated above.

Tangerine Essential Oil

I like to put a few drops in water and drink it, and love to dilute it with water and spray it into the air. It is a very cheerful, uplifting and refreshing smell, and it tastes Great!
Orange essential oil for weight loss can be used in the same manner as all of the above citrus oils.
Do not go into the sun with any citrus oil on your skin!
Spearmint Essential Oil
May help fat to metabolize and reduce deposits of cellulite. Increased metabolism stimulates the gallbladder, which helps with detoxification. Spearmint essential oil is also an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic.
Can be taken the same as the others above.
Cypress Essential Oil
Cypress essential oil helps to eliminate fatty deposits by increasing circulation in the body. It strengthens capillaries, soothes the nerves, and is anti-spasmodic and anti-infectious.
If used as a massage oil, mix with a carrier oil and massage toward the center of the body.
Can also be used as the other oils mentioned here.
Ledum Essential Oil
Ledum is a strong smelling herb that has been used medicinally for thousands of years.
It can help to reduce fat cells that contribute to cellulite and harbor toxic cells.
Ledum essential oil is used widely for weight loss and as a diuretic.
It is anti-bacterial, anti-tumoral, anti-inflammatory and a liver protector.
Used as a tea and tonic, it also can be used as the other oils above.
Rosemary Essential Oil
Rosemary essential oil can be used for weight loss by helping to remove cellulite.
Rosemary heals and protects the liver, is an anti-tumoral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and an anti-parasitic.
Dilute and rub on area of concern, inhale, diffuse, or use as a dietary supplement.
Not for use under 4 years or with persons with high blood pressure!
Fennel Essential Oil
Fennel essential oil helps with weight loss by reducing cellulite deposits, and aids with obesity, fluid retention and digestive issues.
It can help with ulcerative colitis and gastritis.
Fennel is anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and an analgesic.
Fennel seeds have been used for hundreds of years as a digestive aid and to help balance menstrual cycles.
Avoid Fennel If Epileptic!
Juniper Essential Oil
Juniper essential oil has been used for centuries as a diuretic and digestive cleanser. It is used for reducing cellulite.

Use in same manner as with above oils.
Ylang-ylang Essential Oil
Ylang-ylang essential oil has a wonderful smell, and inhaling this aroma numerous times during the day has been shown to reduce appetite cravings.

It is anti-spasmodic, anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory, vaso-dilating, regulates the beating of the heart, helps with intestinal problems and also balances male/female energies.
As with all of the above essential oils for weight loss, ylang-ylang can be diluted and used as a massage oil, on area of concern, inhaled, diffused, or add a couple of drops in honey or tea, beverage or capsule.
